Spider-Man: Far From Home” picks up shortly after the events of “Avengers: Endgame,” where the world is still grappling with the aftermath of the massive battle against Thanos. Peter Parker (played by Tom Holland) is eager to take a break from the superhero life and embark on a school trip to Europe with his classmates. However, his hopes of a peaceful vacation are dashed when he’s recruited by Nick Fury (Samuel L. Jackson) and Quentin Beck (Jake Gyllenhaal), a mysterious newcomer with elemental powers.
“Spider-Man: Far From Home” cleverly introduces the concept of the multiverse, opening up possibilities for future storytelling in the MCU. While not fully explored in this installment, the idea of multiple realities hints at potential crossovers and surprises that could shape the future of the franchise.
Far from home is the best live action version of spider-man so far.
Jake gyllenhaal comes full circle with spider-man,he was gonna be spidey in spider-man 2 and now he’s a spider-man villain, the iconic Mysterio.
They worked with the fish bowl design and made it modern.
First mention of multiverse in the MCU,but it’s all a lie at this point.
I remember seeing the bar scene and Mysterio taking the glasses, and all the non comic fans being surprised and the rest of us knew it was gonna happen lmao.
One of my favorite mcu villains,I love the mcu twist on everyone hating Tony because they worked for him.
Just one of the best villains in the MCU.
Love how this MJ is smart and figures out Peter is spidey, and they officially become boyfriend and girlfriend.
Those illusion scenes
JJJ and the daily bugle finally in the mcu and we learn maria hill and fury are skrulls during this.
Everyone knows Pete is spidey now and it’s the set up to no way home, such an awesome spidey story in the MCU and a good first story after endgame.
Following the events of Avengers: Endgame, Spider-Man: Far from Home begins with Peter Parker/Spider-Man (Tom Holland) and his friends MJ (Zendaya), Ned (Jacob Batalon), Betty (Angourie Rice) and their classmates going on a class trip to Europe. Meanwhile, Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson) and Maria Hill (Cobie Smulder) begin investigating strange natural disasters that appear to be otherworldly.
When the school trip is invaded by giant monsters, Peter is forced to team up with Mysterio (Jake Gyllenhaal), a mysterious new superhero who claims he is from another version of Earth.
As Peter tries to save the world again and work out how to tell MJ how he feels about her, he begins to realise that Mysterio might not be who he seems. Peter and his friends might be in more danger than he thinks.
